Max Benjamin is a family-run Irish brand with roots in both Belgium and Ireland. The story begins in the 1970s, when the founders’ Belgian father and Irish mother settled in a remote and beautiful part of Ireland, bringing with them a classic Flemish aesthetic that would later influence the brand's elegant style.

In 1996, Orla Van den Bergh returned from New York and began making candles by hand. Inspired by her childhood in the wild surroundings of Glencree Valley, and named after her twin sons Max and Ben, the brand was born from a love of design, craftsmanship, and evocative scent.

In 2008, Orla started collaborating with her brothers, David and Mark, which led to the establishment of the Irish brand Max Benjamin, names after Orla's twin boys. The company was born out of a passion for creating beautiful, high-quality fragrances and a desire to ring warmth and harmony into people's homes. Over the years, Max Benjamin has grown into a renowned family business knows for its meticulous craftsmanship, innovative scent combinations, and elegant packaging.

Max Benjamin’s Wall Fragrance Diffusers bring elegant, long-lasting scent into any space. Available in six signature fragrances, each diffuser offers up to 30 days of continuous scenting (based on approx. 8 hours of use per day).
